have noticed a number of new lecturers in college. i myself am having a new lecturer by the name of pn. rasilah- and she's real nice. her class was the first class we had on tuesday and she took the time to personally get to know each of us. i must say however, that she asked what the age range of theclass was and all piped n that we were from the ages of 18-21. she then came to the conclusion that most of us were 18 and just at that moment, everyone piped in in chorus, "no...only ONE of us is 18..." i.e. me.
the other new lecturer that we have is ms. catherine lee. she is also an anal little toad herself- much like ms. rosaline but not as moody so ok.. she's anal but she's not a toad. and plus, i'm the class rep for that class so i in a way am kinda hoping to score some brownie points. it is after all, a writing class. i don't think there is much of an excuse for me to get anything below an A.
enough of educational humdrum. on sunday, i went for a musical theatre workshop held by michael xavier voon. in conjunction with the malaysian dance fest, the malaysian dance alliance is holding 27 workshops. anyways, it was kinda awkward at first since i was the only malay there but later on it was ok. i was afraid that the others there would be hoity-toity la-dee-da's but i stand corrected. they were all actually nice.overall, the workshop was fun but i was only disappointed with the fact that the whole two hours was more spiritual rather than it was musical. all is well that ends well.
anyways, am currently at the marriott. had a very good day shopping (as usual... who could not love shopping?! besides you yayang..). ate kate isleavingfor manila tomorrow so i'm here to spend the night with her since i don't know when will be the next time i actually get to see her- i'm hoping i'll be in florida the next time i do! haha!

the cous (Ate is kakak in tagalog), mom and i were at a shoe store at sungai wang just now. when we were there i saw what i feel is absolutely.... EURGH! one must admit that there is no better way to put it. in the store, there were a bunch of couches for customers to sit on while trying shoes. ate kate was trying on a few pairs while mom and i were giving our thoughts- the usual girly thing- and to my horror/shock/(INSERT WORD HERE)/repulsion i saw a girl bending down to try on a pair of shoes baring her ass to the whole of malaysia. and when i say half her ass, i really mean half her ass.. it wasn't just a tiny hint of her anaemic derierre but really half her bum crack! one would think that she would have felt a draft of some sort. oh well, if i were one of the two friends that was with her i would have said something. i in turn would rather that my friends tell me that half my butt is being showcased to the world (considering the foreigners at BB) than have to unwillingly and unknowingly subject myself to utter humiliation.
well, once again changing topic, i haven't been depressed at all off late. good news- i think. college and dancing have kept my mind off all the matters that have been troubling me. the two cats are still driving me up the wall; well ili is, but iman's been behaving as always.
ok... am very sleepy. i'm gonna go hit the sack now.
