anyways, it's finally the end of the semester and tomorrow is our last paper! yay! i'm exceptionally happy because i've been doing very well this sem. and tomorrow is not only our final paper (cpm) but it is also raya's inter-modern exam. and my tap exam is the next day *eep* so wish us both luck you guys!

going back to exams, it turns out that the surprise ms. catherine gave us for AW was one that many of us could identify with. i chose to do the essay about discipline with credit cards and made my stand based on a youths perspective. one of the articles we had to refer to suggested that we should maintain a balance between "what is ideal and what is adequate" but we all know that's only possible for the first two months when it comes to us consumer-driven youth.
i basically just wrote that as harsh as it may be, most youngins like myself lean towards the ideal. ie having the 'perfect' lifestyle and wardobe. but ultimately, leaning towards what is perfect is as hopeless as panning for gold in your shower. yeah sure your credit card can pay for that gold nugget you so want; but eventually you'll have to pay for it yourself.
well, right now it's already half-way through puasa month and i'm actually getting all excited. especially since there's going to be oodles of lemang and rendang to fill my tummy. speaking of tummies, farhaan's losing his and i'm not very happy about that. and now, speaking of food, tomorrow night, farhaan and i will be joining raya, her family, lily and zain for buka puasa at parkroyal hotel. too bad my mom's not working there tomorrow night though. oh well.. there's always next time.
i saw sharon the other day and got to spend some really good quality time with her. lately, sharon's been crying for no apparent reason. and i've just been laughing my ass off at her. she treated me to dome for lunch and she was also telling me crazy stories about the shit she does back in canadiaville. again, i was laughing my ass off. since we both had to fill in some customer cards, when the waiters took them back i got some weird looks from them. yes i skipped puasa that day. so sue me. anyways, while we were walking around i found two gifts already since the birthdays of two very special people in my life are coming up. my mom's birthday is next week on the 24th while squishy's is on the 9th of next month.
as usual, i also couldn't help but look around for something for myself (proves my theory doesn't it). i saw the most adorable fuschia handbag from loop. am going to buy it this sunday (i'm going to go shopping with almas and her mom - squishy's mom and lil sis). if we're lucky maybe she'll throw in a trip to the aquarium.
tomorrow the mass comm club is throwing a halloween party over at main campus. i really do wanna go but then it'd be totally out of the way for me and farhaan since we'll be in kl for buka. anyways, there's still the adp halloween party we could go to. i dunno if i still wanna go as the toothless fairy. maybe i'll go as shrek.or squishy can go as him...

by the way, i trimmed my hair, layered it and got bangs. ishwar's not very happy since i don't look like a mak yong/yoong anymore... but i look different now and i'm happy. it's about time i did something with my hair. oh well, like he says, hair grows...
