langkawi was great! i managed to get myself a bit of tan - which is unfortunately disappearing fast. can't wait till the next opportunity to incinerate myself under the sun. thank god for pelangi beach resort, that's where i really got to burn. also got to go on this mangrove tour which was super awesome. we fed eagles, went crocodile hunting but didn't get to see any and also went to a bat cave. so i did end up around guano in the end. ended the tour with a boat ride to a secluded beach which was absolutely gorgeous! i've never been to a beach where the water was a lovely shade of green. not gross, disgusting green but clear ocean green..
the eagle-feeding part of the tour.. look close, you'll see them fight
*sigh* a good one week spent there. great shopping too! especially the alcohol.. the closet semi-alcoholic in me is relieved.. hannah and i were cathcing lala the while at the beach. we thought that it was really cool at the time cuz our seashells were actually still 'alive' but we forgot the tiny and inevitable detail called death. they all died and stank up farhaan's prada bag! hahaha.. oops! well, it's clean now1 got it washed. :P
orientation is this week.. which means classes officially start next week.. im feeling a tad peppy that college is starting.. but only because i finally get to start my degree and be done with it. but the thought of having to go back to the same ol' campus has me exhasperated.. just have to keep in mind that it's just another one and a half years.
anyways, my uncle whom i haven't seen since i last visited the phils is down for business. which explains why i have to play tour guide. mom's working and dad's neither here nor there (hard to explain) and mama aji and co are back in langkawi. but either way, pinoys are always fun to be with so it isn't bad at all..
am glad italy won the world cup. am not that big a fan of france after what happened in 98 and 02

catching lala
