it's almost halfway thru the first month of the new year and i have only been to one class.. econs. frankly, i think the fella's speaking greek. the new lecturer for our class strikes me as one of those really queer but actually-really-nice-when-you-get-to-know-them kinda teachers. oh well, only time will tell. i have this grave fear that i'll flunk the subject. crap. graphs and numbers.. shitty (no offence to those who love the subject). the only time i like numbers is when they appear in my bank account and when they're on those really pretty green and purple slips of paper.
throughout the entire lecture, the only words i understood were "replacement class", "cost" and "benefit". please yayang, i need serious help.
ok so anyways, lately wardah the hantu tetek herself has been coming over quite a bit. as usual, we've been karaoke-ing and throwing mini concerts for anyone willing to listen. our biggest fans being my cats, who were probably more traumatised rather than amused by the whole event. they were running all over the place maybe thinking, "please! stop that infernal racket! you sound worse than when we're in heat!"
the last time wardah came over, i made it a point that we go buy nasi lemak from the mamak near my place to make the oh-so-yummy nasi lemak goreng. yup. i love it that much. lily and i were so glad we were going back to college, one of the reasons being that we could eat the very elusive nasi lemak goreng for lunch again.
the last time wardah came over, she also started laughing her guts out when she saw me play the sims2. why? well, cuz the family i play with is actually a married couple that looks exactly like me and farhaan. first she was laughing at the resemblance of yayang's character, then she was laughing cuz all 'yayang squish' wanted to do was woo hoo all over the place. hmmm... now my cyber peadophilic husband is becoming depressed because the schoolgirl he wants to hit on doesn't like him. ha.
ooh ooh! i havn't mentioned this yet! i have a new laptop! what's better is that it kicks ass too! i'll save spec details for only those who are interested.
i discovered something new today. i've finally realised why iman and ili love jumping into my closet. and why ili's desperate enough to volunteer as a crash test dummy (insider joke). today i fell asleep on a fresh pile of laundry. hangers and everything. ili decided to join me too and we were all snuggled up and snoozing away. i have to admit that it was one of the best naps i've ever taken. of course, nothing beating the ones yayang and i take in the afternoon. ooooh i love snuggling up and and being cuddled by my yayang. swoon.
ok so it was sharon's and wardah's 20th and 21st birthdays yesterday respectively. i called sharon in canadiavilleto tell her that she's already 20 by malaysian standards/time and the next morning got a lovely sms from maxis telling me that i should pay my bill. irk. i guess i got a little carried away huh?! and i managed to see wardah the day before her birthday so that was kewl. ok girls. i love you and happy birthday! muah!
