hey hey hey! it's my birthday this weekend and i'm pertty excited right now! am looking forward to having loads of fun! :)

ok so anyways, my group and a bunch of other students and i went to taman negara for the weekend. i know i had a really good time. the activities, especially the rapids shooting and canaopy walkway were a lot of fun! we stayed at the mutiara resort taman negara.

the weekend kicked off with a crazy bus ride, or at least bus ride with a crazy driver. then we got on this 3-hour boat ride which saw some of us who were on the boat really really wet. i just got F****N pissed. but it's all good now. hehehe... what's funny was that raya actually had to pee so badly that she ended up relieving herself in a plastic bag! all of us just really felt bad for lily who was sitting next to her.

once we got to the resort and settled down, all of us trekked to a river for some good fun! for the first time in my life, i was dragged into a current. pretty freaky.. well, raya and i got pretty puteri gunung ledang since we got into the whole 'mood' of mandi-ing sungai.

well, other than that, quite a lot of ther 'interesting' things happened. many of them political. but it can't be argued that the most exhausted line during the whole trip was, "Next time, everone should bring their own water..." among other 'witty/sarcastic/defensive retorts'. what made it frustrating was that it was said by someone whom we were all kind to. i don't understand the attitudes of some ppl.

anyways, moving on to happier topics, i just loved the canopy walkway. as it turns out, taman negara has the longest in the world! and since i LOVE heights, i just had a damn good time up there la! what tickled me so much was how lu yi was saying that she felt so confident walking behind me while on the walkway. when i asked why, she said that it was because despite being so high up and walking on a precarious walkway, i could still stop in the middle just to look over and enjoy the view!
